PHOTO CHALLENGE 2013: Waterdrop

This is one of my favourite yet not so favourite photography shoots. Why? Favourite because the outcome can be very nice and magical, not so favourite as it takes long time to capture a perfect shot, back aches are just unbelievable after. I told to myself after the shoot that I might not be able to do it again unless there’s a special request! LOL

Anyway, here’s my compilation of water drop photography.

I used Soy Sauce and a blue bowl for this effect. Why it came up like this? I dont know! Enchanting isnt it?

PHOTO CHALLENGE 2013: Shoes

I must admit that I am a footwear addict and I tend to buy shoes than clothes if I happen to be on shopping. I own more or less 20 pairs of footwear exclude those that I donated to the charity . The fact that I never had any decent shoes before when I was young triggers my feet to go to the footwear section. I have heard of the same situation like this while watching TV before. The lady stacks tins of peas, beans and any kind of food, most were out of date. She just can’t throw it away because they were hungry before when she was on her childhood and she’s scared of being hungry again. I compare myself to that, I suppose it’s not right but I do. The feeling of having no shoes and running out of shoes scares me to death.

Anyway, enough of the stories. I am about to reveal my collection. They are not expensive shoes as I can’t afford but even if they are not, they are still lovely possessions. Hope you enjoy!

PHOTO CHALLENGE 2013: Books

Book according to Wikipedia is a set of written, printed, illustrated, or blank sheets, made of ink, paper, parchment or other materials, usually fastened together to hinge at one side. A single sheet within a book is called a leaf  and each side of a leaf is called a page. A set of text-filled or illustrated pages produced in electronic format is known as an electronic book (e-book).

I aint a book fanatic. As a matter of fact I have only read one book in my life as far as I can remember and it was by Margaret Davis’ For The Love Of My Son. I just got hooked with the story and it only took me 3 days to finish it which was quite surprising as I hate reading. I am very opposite of my husband when it comes to that, he just love reading his books. He’s got an e-reader as well which was good but still he purchase books from eBay or Amazon which is cheap and was already used. He then gives it to the book bank near the community centre in our village to help those charitbale foundations to raise money for the soldiers or for poor children and people.

Now here is my little collection of book photos. Hope you like it!

Me and my husband always love eating outside, eating different cuisine and of course exploring my food which is Filipino dishes and his food which si English foods. We have been to couple of trips around our countries and enjoyed each and every meal we had. I am going to share you today my few captures of delicious foods weve had on our past journeys. Hope you’ll enjoy!

We got engaged in Tagaytay the night we had this for lunch. didnt know he was planning already how to approach me. Maybe the grilled taste of the food push him to kneel down and ask me to marry him. Sweet! LOL

Lechon Baboy (Roast Pig)

Lechon Baboy (Roast Pig)

We always have this whole roast pig on my daughter’s birthday. I guess its a tradition already to have this kind of dish on birthday parties. With it crispy skin and tasty meat, you’ll surely forget your name!

BBQ Glazed Chicken Wings and Chips at a Beefeater in Lincoln, England

We have been in Nosey Parker in Triton Road in Lincoln many times specially when we are celebrating birthdays. Its just they serve good, hot food for a reasonable price. Since Im a chicken lover I always ended up with this platter of chips and chicken.

Ensaymada (spelt wrong by the bakery staffs I suppose)

Ensaymada (spelt wrong by the bakery staffs I suppose)

I was waiting for a jeepney in front of the bakery in Buhangin Davao City Philippines when I noticed the signage of the pastry. It made me smile more when I saw the signage for the PIG PIE, FIG PIE. Anyway, they always serve good bread and pastry which Ensaymada is one of my favourite.
