Here is a little collection of photos of London Heathrow Terminal 4. You can use this as guide in future specially to those who are departing from T4 as I will put captions and little tips and advises on travelling.
Check this one out!
After the Security Check you will enter the Passengers Lounge that leads you to your respective gates which only departing passengers of the airport are allowed. Also an important reminder to you traveler, if you are having an international flight, PLEASE, arrive at the airport 4 hours before you fly to avoid any delays, problems and rushing yourselves to the gate or if its worse, you will be left by the aircraft behind.
Piece of ADVICE:
It is best to travel with a light carry-on bag to avoid any hassles on checking luggage in. Also 24 hours or less than 24 hours, check-in yourselves online and if possible print you’re boarding passes, this can help you save time on queuing longer than usual in the check-inn counter.
Pack LIGHT and enjoy the journey. Have a safe trip Guys!

Nice to find a fellow photographer who is fascinated by life…wherever we find it…even at airports. I too took a slew of photos when we were at Amsterdam’s airport several months ago. Fascinating to watch people of all races going about their business…unaware that they’re being watched…through the lens of a camera.
…very nice shots…and great information…
Ever since I loved photography its just that I got no time to study photography. LOL. Yes, nice to take stolen shots in a place where people are just doing their own things not thinking they’re being captured and soon be featured online. I just took pictures to remember my last day in England and I was thinking to share my experiences with some tips and advices that may help in future about airports and travelling.
Tnx very much! Hope you enjoyed!
Wonderful post. And I agree, arrive early and pack light. Makes life so much easier!
cue British accent- I feel like i’m in London luv!
Indeed! can save time and less hassle as traveling always does!
Hahahahaha. I can relate on that British accent cue dear cos I love listening to them while they are talking. Nice aren’t they? LOL! Cheers!
And what’s cuter than a British accent? A cute little British child!!! Just love listening to those little rascals
Indeed! Very cute, little angels they are.
Oh, how I would love to see London. This is a great service to travelers. Thanks for liking my recent Christmas countdown post.
London would love to welcome you! I liked ur xmas countdown post because we are also waiting for my sisters baby boy to explode and come out of her tummy! LOL. Excited we are. Anyways, thanx very much for visiting.
I love Heathrow – being delayed is fine with me, theres so much to see and so many people to watch!
….especially when u got some sterling pounds left then you can do shopping while waiting. Tnx for visiting Love!
nice capture of those objects..
This is very informative I’ll bookmark this, just in case I receive a miracle to have a free tour to England.
I travel light too!
Too much unnecessary luggage can be a pain!
One of my dreams is to travel in London. Last year I was given a chance to travel St. Petersburg and Finland but Philippine immigration didnt get me through. I was sad but still looking forward for my next travel….the same destination but I hope more will be added. I miss that person who treated me like king but I just don’t know what makes that person silent nowadays!
It looks organized and orderly compared to our notorious NAIA.
I’ve been there twice but I have no chance to take pictures. Hehehe We go straight to the pub typical!
Kung lahat ng airport terminals ganyan kaganda, I wouldn’t really mind a slight delay.
Wow ganda! Puedeng bang sa pinas nalang yang airport na yan?? We have the worst airport! Mas maganda pa airport ng small airlines like Cebu pacific coz they already have their own, So disappointing to use NAIA… ;( hope to visit this London airport soon! One of the places I need to see soon!
Tnx for the compliments.
Thank you for the compliments Cha. You never know, one day you might tour England for FREE!
I agree! I did try to carry big case, shopping trolley and a handbag on coming bag to the PI but I ended up STRESSED! hahahahaha. Tnx for the drop by!
Ohh, Im so sorry to hear that! I hope things will get better soon!
Indeed! It is also very clean and secured. Tnx for the visit!
Pauli man ko ani nya na sayo mi gamay ug abot ba mao nagka chance ug picture2x. Salamat sa pag agi.
Well, you wouldnt notice the delay kasi maraming shops and restaurants sa gilid2x.
Yes, NAIA 1 is very old and dami din corrupt! GRRR! Hope you will reach London in no time.
No wonder our airport in the Philippines is one of the worst. Mahal pa ng terminal and airport fee. Sa ibang airports wala naman and theirs is amazing like this one. Kakalungkot..
I hope I could use your tips someday. Kelan kaya ako makakapunta ng London? Hehehehe!
I cant remember paying a terminal fee in LHR4. Dont know if its already included in my payment but as far as I know I didnt pay any extra fees. Yes, kakalungkot talaga. Tnx for the visit!
Next week punta ka tapos sama mo ako ha! hehehhe. Im sure you will. Tnx for the visit.
Wow. Their ceilings looked nice. One day, I’ll fly to London
Can I slip myself into your backpack?! I hope you will and you will never regret it. Thats for sure!
love how you see the airport.
makes me feel like I have been there!
thanks for sharing
this was the first thing that i noticed when i went to norway, ang ganda ng mga airport sa ibang bansa so kahit matagal ang stop over ok lang. how i wish ganyan din dito sa manila. =)
Love the interiors! Sleek and sophisticated!
Very informative! Very helpful. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I appreciate this travel advice. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this post. Buti di ka sinita ng security nila dyan unlike sa NAIA.
The airport is so hi-tech and beautiful comparing to our Manila International airport! Tnx for sharing!
i haven’t been to london so i haven’t seen heathrow but i’ve been to hongkong and the airport is huge but i managed to find my way around. so i guess i’ll be able to navigate my way around heathrow anytime. HK airport is heathrow and jfk combined in terms of “bigness” …;)

Ok first, what are those on the ceiling of the first 2 and last 2 pictures? They look like lamps suspended from the ceiling?
And thanks for the tips! I agree about the 4-hours-earlier arrival. I think you can never arrive too early at the airport for an international flight!
Ahhh.. this terminal looks so good! How I wish our airport terminal in the Philippines look good as amazing as this..
And how I wish I’ll be able to step foot in London Heathrow Terminal 4.
Your photos are great! Oh London! How I wish I could go there and take some photos too
Your welcome.
Yeah, specially NAIA 1, its really needs loads of attentions and renovations.
Yeah, very modern and bright. Ganda sa mata.
I hope you will! You will surely love it. Tnx for the drop by!
im sure you will sumi! tnx for dropping by.
They are not lamps or lights, they are just circular designs similar as what T5 got. When I saw them I asked my bf why do they got big dish in the ceiling. hahahahahaha.
Welcome! If LHR4 is the airport then I wont mind arriving the airport very early cos they got loads of shops inside. I can kill my time there. hahahahahaa. Tnx for dropping by.
Ive been to HK with my bf for a 3-day holiday in 2010. It was huge and wonderful I can say very different to NAIA 1 and old airport. hahahahaha
Very high tech and so secured. I agree very different to NAIA 1. Tnx for dropping by!
They dont do that in the UK. If you took a photo that they think isnt allowed they will approach you right away and let you delete the photo.
Welcome. Tnx for dropping by!
u’ve been so blessed.
keep on travelling and keep on posting for you to keep us inspired.
