Quick Update

My sister gave birth last 23rd of December on a bouncing baby boy named Kirk Bryan Godmalin Jadormeo. After 2 days, the baby got admitted to the hospital because he failed to pass stool after 48 hours and diagnosed with an illness called Ileus (intestinal obstruction). So I am a liason officer and on nursing duties at the moment.

Its been 4 days now since he got admitted and he is due to a surgery. Prayers are needed for his surgery to be successful and hoping for a very good, full recovery after. I may not be online to update from time to time but I will do my best to update you guys. I hope I wont lose you good people I have met and shared stories with.

Till my next come back! :)

Manila Domestic Passenger Terminal

I was heading home that time after passing my application to the UK Visa Agency when I used the Manila Domestic Passenger Terminal also known as Old Domestic because I am departing from Manila to Davao using ZestAir. It is located in the old airport road where you can find lots of restaurants just in-front of the said terminal.

Their very old TROLLEY

At first I got no clue how s**t (sorry for the word) the airport was cos it looks old, “YES” but didn’t imagine how ugly and poor the terminal was. I was looking for a trolley so I can put my bags on cos I got “PASALUBONGS” (presents/gifts) for my family back in Davao while queueing to check-in and I was so surprised how old the trolley they got. Very old and bit hard to push but not rusty, thank God. I got no choice but to use it, anyway, FREE OF CHARGE so why not. Waiting to get served, I think they only have 4-5 counters open for 2 flights that time, so it is as slow as snail. Finally, I got served and got my boarding pass and proceeded to the terminal fee booth where you pay P200. I Paid and head my way to the passenger waiting lounge. “WAITING” is the word of the day as I waited almost 4 hours for my flight because the returning aircraft from Davao was delayed but they gave us food not enough for my big belly but better than nothing. They have food stalls and newstand but bit expensive for me so I stayed with the free.

Their toilet is a bit dirty. Staffs are trying to maintain the cleanliness but I don’t know why it is dirty still. They have free wi-fi but you cannot access for no reason. You can’t sleep in the chair cos it’s very uncomfortable. After 4 hours of waiting, the aircraft arrived, we started to embarked to the aircraft and took our respective seats cos we are so ready to take off and go home. Another 30 mins of wait again because they load the wrong luggage to our aircraft, unload it and load luggage again. It was just a whirlwind of delays that night that made me tired and sick.

Internet Section ( FREE WiFi but CANNOT ACCESS)

I did swear to myself I wont ever use that airport and airline again. It is just a migraine that’s too much for me. If you are planning to fly or use the old airport then think twice, I am not encouraging you not to use the airport but as what I have experience I can say that it wont do you good.

I wonder where are the money that the passenger pays for the terminal fee? Why can’t they use some money they have collected for a little renovation and maintenance of the airport? What you think?

Moments of 2011

I was not expecting that my 2011 will be as spectacular as London’s Fireworks every New Years Day at The London Eye. I have never ever imagine that all my dreams will come true in this year. I am still amazed on how things happened and how things went well.

Followed by the family beach outing in Camp Holiday Resort and Recreation Area at Island Garden City of Samal in February the 1st. Next was the trip to Singapore with my boyfriend Paul and celebrated Valentines Day there. We stayed 4 days in Singapore and tour Sentosa Island, hop in the Singapore Flyer and experience Singapore’s Chinatown. After 4 days in Sentosa, we flew back to the capital of the Philippines which is Manila and stayed for 3 nights in The Traders Hotel. We also had our first attempt to get a visa and sent our visa application to the visa agency in Manila but we got refused.

In five months stay in England, I didn’t say the words, “I’m BORED.” I had so much fun. I met dozens of good, approachable people, his relatives, new friends, fellow Filipinos whose been so good to me and of course his family. I left England on the 8th of October and arrived Davao at the 10th of Oct because I stayed one night in Manila. I reunite with my family again after 5 months of not seeing them in person specially my daughter. Of course there was a little celebration and gathering.

I can close the year with a very big smile with lots of good memories to cherish and experiences not just from England but also here in the Philippines and the 2 more countries I have visited. I am ready to move to the next level of my life with my family, nieces and nephew, my boyfriend and his family with the guidance of the Man up above whose behind all of this happenings.

Christmas Wishes

Few hours to go it’s already Christmas here in the Philippines. Everybody is busy preparing for their Noche Buena to share with the family and friends. Some are on their way to the church to attend midnight masses to complete their 9 mornings. Neighbours are singing their favourite songs in the videoke machines. Kids are all dressed-up with their new bought clothings by mum and dad, carrying their presents and dancing with their playmates. House decors and lights are all lighting and blinking as well as their Christmas Trees that’s full of presents underneath. All are so prepared and excited for Christmas to come. I wonder if these people got wishes too like I do? Wishes that someday will be granted and wishes that keeps them the hope of achieving their hearts desires.

My only wish for Christmas is that my family, relatives, friends will be all well all through the year and upcoming years. I also wish for my boyfriends family who looked after me when I was in England a good health and bountiful new year as well as my friends there. I wish that the people who was affected by the storm will overcome all the trials they are experiencing now and spend their Christmas happily after what has happened. I wish that all the wishes of us will get granted someday.

I am not wishing for myself as I know that I can cope up with things. All I’m asking is happiness, good health, better life and brighter future for everybody! Merry Christmas to all and spread the love and happiness all through the world!

SNAPSHOTS!

When you travel specially in a strange place or a place that’s new to you, one of the first thing that you are concerned about is taking pictures to capture moments that also serves as memorabilia, I am totally the same. Since, I love taking pictures, I want to share the nice views, scenarios and places that my camera captured and what my eyes have seen. Here are another batch of lovely photos I took in England when I was on holiday.

I was fascinated by the scenarios, drama, views and picture of the places, people and living things my camera lenses captured. Nice to bring back memories via photos and nice to reminisce each and every single moment of your life through pictures like I do.
